waihirere

 

yesterday we went to waihirere for the day.we got to meet sam trap man in took us for a walk up to the waterfall and he told us what we could eat whale we were wallking up tp the waterfall.And onece we finished the walk and gathered everything for some tea which was made out of bush food so i was really impressed that you can make a drink out hot water and bush food.When we were comeing down for the waterfall we found some laves that can make lipbam.

My thinking
Ships	The ships were used to go to the war and if the people got hurt they would go back to the ships to get better and go back to their home.
weapons	The people that went to the war used weapons to fight the people to win the war. The weapons came in hand sometimes in the war.
soldier	The soldiers stepped up to go to the war so us people could be here today enjoying our life so we have to thank the people that went to war to do that for us.
Anzac cookies	You can make anzac cookies on anzac day and give them to your family and your family might remember the war.
poppies	Poppies are red but in the middle there is a black dot in the middle.poppies are everywhere on a field.

                                           Today we got to start our Prime math book.I was in 3A in my book .A quarter of the class was in my group the half of the class was on 2A some of the people are in my group is Ruby Raphelle pJ and karli .I am steping up with my math.By doing my math i am loveing it more.I was so excited when we got to start are prime math book because i am geting more confident.

        

Tryathalon

 

yesterday we did the tryathalon after morning tea

Ella.h came first then Ruby came second  after Ruby Raphelle came third then kaitlyn came fourth and i came fifth and i was really proud of myself.

Part 2 tanemahuta sketching

 

Today we got to finished our art off.And it was really easy to do. After it as dry up then you get some toothpicks and draw your sketch on the piece paper but try to get it to the exact same in your sketchbook after that you are done.

Tanemahuta sketching

we are learning about tanemahuta with Miss Joplin

1.First we had to get a black piece of paper then you need do your name then after that you need to colour the whole page with pastels.

2.Then you need  black paint and paint your piece of paper and make sure it's really thick.

3.Next you need to make sure it is dry before you can go the next step.

4.Now you need to start sketching in your book.

5.After that you can draw on your piece of paper but make sure it is dry.

now you are done i hope you enjoy your art.

Camp

 

This week the 5 and 6 went to camp ones we got to school we got in into our car and jruve to Hinrupe ones we got there we did i powhiri then we had some lunch then we went for a swim in the river after that we made our beds and we had some dinner then in to sleep. In the morning we had some breakfast and then we got ready for a run after a van with summer activities and got into groups and one group did Point making went to see a dead whale and making flax flowers and then we went to a beach with L boogie boards then it was time for dinner and then we had some pudding and went to bed.The next day we made some fish and bread for our last night there.
